Process Consulting, Implementation & Training

Are you interested in increased efficiency and working lean? We can review your current processes and make recommendations for improvements. We can take on or assist you with developing and/or implementing new processes, software and equipment in the shop or office. We will also provide training to your team in those areas and can periodically provide updated training for current and new team members. We can also assist you with internal audits as well as certification processes.

Project Management and Engineering Support

Do you have a special project that you could use some extra help on? In need some estimating or engineering support that you'd like to squeeze in to your schedule? We can provide you with part time or full time Project Management for those projects that need just a little extra attention. We can advise from the planning stages, including estimating and production support, all the way though to the end to make your project a success.

Metal Work and Design

ACMW offers different types of designs and metal works for your business. Do you need a sign that will withstand weather, a personalized metal project, or a item to help fix your equipment to keep you going? Established in 2018, Alpine Consulting and Metal Works was created by Joseph Poulin. An Engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Maine at Orono. Joe has spent his career working in the fabrication industry covering Heavy Structural and Misc Metals to Industrial, Mechanical and Pipe fabrication. He has worked on the shop floor and as a Supervisor. AWS certified in FCAW, in the office as both an Engineer and Project Manager, Joe has also spent a great deal of time onsite as a Field Engineer. During that time he has spent time in both union and non-union environments on the shop floor as well as in the field. Experienced in the 500 lbs. job to the 4,000 ton job and everything in between. With a "can-do" attitude no project is too big or too small to work on. ACMW's vision is too help business's with planning and executing their engineering, project management and metal work needs needs, while providing the best guidance and products to their customers.
